Though, ...I have not been tested for GH deficiency. Though, I'm not sure I want to have a hypoglycemic episode induced... that will go down as one of the more scary sounding tests.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06636587607618735043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9041936322035912190.post-76328613372603150852014-07-18T07:56:03.428-07:002014-07-18T07:56:03.428-07:00Amber, have you been tested for growth hormone (GH...Amber, have you been tested for growth hormone (GH) deficiency during times of stress? Like cortisol, your body needs more GH after working out. The best test is called an insulin tolerance test (ITT). My endocrinologist tested me and found that my GH stress response is below the bottom of the normal range (even though I produce some GH normally). Cortisol alone helps, but doesn't fully relieve my symptoms. Until I combined hydrocortisone with GH, I couldn't exercise regularly -- but together, these medications are a miracle. Now (in my late 40s), I can exercise like I am young again with minimal side effects. teancum144https://www.blogger.com/profile/11071169838038647845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9041936322035912190.post-36149715460017798502013-09-26T18:20:58.213-07:002013-09-26T18:20:58.213-07:00Agreed! :) Now come back and visit so you can pick...Agreed! :) Now come back and visit so you can pick up your mug! ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06636587607618735043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9041936322035912190.post-11847241617069255032013-09-24T07:45:44.137-07:002013-09-24T07:45:44.137-07:00Glad I could be there that day :) (and that there ...Glad I could be there that day :) (and that there were no medical crises)!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11761858349521903200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9041936322035912190.post-45139646237466390592013-09-23T04:40:11.473-07:002013-09-23T04:40:11.473-07:00So Proud of My FAVORITE Granddaughter Runner. :-)...So Proud of My FAVORITE Granddaughter Runner. :-).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
