Anniversaries provide us with an opportunity to reflect on the journey traveled together.

I would like to share some of those reflections about our first two years of marriage

To quote my father, "As a couple you have experienced more and achieved more life in two years than most people do in ten. Very impressive."

In our first two years of marriage, we have lived in two different states and one foreign country

We have logged more than one hundred hours driving on various road trips across both the USA and Malaysia.

We have visited nine different countries, and nine different states.

We have run more than fifty-five miles in road races. This includes anything from a 5k to a half marathon.

We have had appointments with five different endocrinologists and had countless blood draws.

My husband has had to use my emergency injection six times. But of those six times, we only have had to make two ER trips. And only one of those resulted in a multiple night hospital stay.

While managing my disease does take a significant amount of time, it is never the sole focus of our marriage.

Here's to many more years of crazy adventure and proving to the world we are Clearly Alive!
